Greetings to my fellows Aleates. I concur with many of the comments that I read in this great web page. Indeed Alea is the greatest place on Earth. I look forward to the next convention in Montreal and hope to see everyone there. The pictures are great and the sky over Alea is still the bluest ever and its beauty is only second to its surrounding mountains.

We are very happy to have met each and every one of you, and we would like to thank Katina Kordalis for all the work and effort she put in to organizing this convention.

It was cool to find out that a place
that I never knew exsisted before is there and has my name! I was just playing around on
the internet and thought,"Hey, try your name Alea",and I did. I came up with
some pretty weird things that I couldn't understand because it was in Spanish and a bunch
of computer places, but by far this site was the most interesting. I'll have to visit this
place sometime if I ever get a chance to go abroad. Also on your directory it had
something about a scholarship foundation but it wasn't highlighted to click and find out
more info. Would it happen to be for people named Alea?:) I'll probably check out this
site for more or neat info. Thanks

As most of you already know the 1997 Alea Convention will be held in Alea. Approximately
400 Aleates are expected to converge to Alea in mid-July, 1997. Don't miss this great

father William J. Russis would have been very happy and proud to have seen his birthplace
on this web site. He loved his fellow Aleates. It was always a big moral boost to him when
